Praveen, What this comes down to is the b4 version of the image was inadvertently built with extra material from sid due to an error in configuration (it was intended that only the live-* packages be included from sid). This problem was fixed in rc1, but that meant that it used all wheezy versions of packages (including the newly migrated live-* packages), but we missed that debian-installer-launcher in wheezy is at version 13, whereas version 14 from sid is required, so rc1 regressed because it now uses the version from wheezy. I will file an unblock on debian-installer-launcher 14 when I have a moment to review a debdiff.
If you download and install version 14 from http://packages.debian.org/sid/all/debian-installer-launcher/download inside the running live system, then you should be able to at least start the installer. I just tested this in Virtualbox on the i386 lxde-desktop flavour and it worked fine for at least the first several screens. However, when I aborted the install, it left the desktop frozen (clock and other indicators stop moving and the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive). This is a topic for a different bug, though, which I will file when I have a spare moment. Ben -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
