Package: kernel-image-2.2.20-idepci
Version: N/A; reported 2001-12-11
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software

boot-floppies uses dhcp-client.  dhcp-client needs CONFIG_PACKET=y, it is
currenly a module.

$ pwd
~/kernel-image-2.2.20-i386-2.2.20/config
$ grep CONFIG_PACKET *
compact:CONFIG_PACKET=m
ide:CONFIG_PACKET=m
idepci:CONFIG_PACKET=m

David

This is silly, the 2.2.20 modules were being put on the 2.2.20-idepci
rootdisk. It was happenning because the b-f dependancies leave
something to be desired, but it doesn't look like it will happen
during package building. I'm closing this bug to reduce noise in the
BTS. It is either a not a bug, or easy to fix, I just don't have time
to figure out which right now.
