I tried a Malayalam installation (mostly blind :-)) with http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/wheezy_di_beta3/i386/iso-cd/debian-wheezy-DI-b3-i386-xfce-CD-1.iso on an VirtualBox machine, and all went fine! No problems at all: base system was installed from CD, I chose an Indic mirror, then tasks were installed (I selected only "Standard system"). Installation was successful, system reboots fine. So this bug is apparently not related to all beta3 images. Praveen: probably you could try an installation with above image to confirm this behaviour on your machine? And: As of now it's of high interest to know, which image you used?
