Hi there! I am trying to figure out how to completely disable network configuration, which should be achieved with:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- # Disable network configuration entirely. This is useful for cdrom # installations on non-networked devices where the network questions, # warning and long timeouts are a nuisance. d-i netcfg/enable boolean false --8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8--- However, there is still ethdetect at stage 3: reading the ethdetect sources[1] or the d-i internals[2], it seems this check can not be disabled ATM, am I right? Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca [1] <http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=d-i/hw-detect.git;a=blob;f=ethdetect.sh;h=445173c577cdf76153669beba9f7c96117957acb;hb=HEAD> [2] <http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/doc/internals/>
