Hi,

As the wheezy has freezed, I've looked back again at this issue. It
seems like ntfs is once again left out of current boot.img.gz hd media
d-i file.

Is there any chance of seeing ntfs support included by default?

It's hard for me to understand how ntfs is considered a corner case
(when there are lots of windows tools today that can create multi-boot
ntfs usb drives) but reiserfs or jbd not (does anyone carry a reiserfs
or jbd formatted usb drive with them?)

For reading the installation files from an usb drive there is no need
for entire ntfs-3g package files, just the kernel module.

Thanks.
