Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I try to install Wheezy on a new machine, I downloaded the
debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso [1] build at 29-May-2012 17:31
During the base system installation I get an error on installing busybox
(I don't know if there is a problem on the CD or CD-drive or there is a
problem on .iso image building fase, I have only one rw CD and I have
only try to do a remastering of it without new results).
I have try more time to do the installation but I have always the same
error. I have try to pass to next step: configure the apt system, but
without the base system you cannot do that... or better you can do that
if you push the "Previous" button when you get the message like this
"You must install the base system before to proceed", so if you push the
"Previous" button at that point the "apt system configuration" start and
you can also go to download the system from the net... until something
go in error (because the base system is not installed completely).
Finally I have download the Squeeze net CD, and installed testing
starting from stable.
Ciao
Davide
