Thanks for your input. I reviewed Branden's page, and found a couple of items that needed to be added to the install docs. I recently updated the mac-fdisk man page, which goes into the install docs as well. Branden's page still has the advantage of being specific to iBooks and newer G4s, and makes a great quickstart install guide for newer Mac owners. If you see anything I missed, let me know. The patch for my doc changes is below.
