I replaced grub-installer and os-prober.sh with the patched files on a running installer started with 'recommends=false'. With network connectivity os-prober was pulled in and a grub.cfg generated with it. Without the network configured 30_otheros was used to populate grug.cfg. This is probably what you intended to happen. The syslogs are available if required. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
