Hi,
Every time I go from X to vt a I have to exec dpkg-reconfigure
console-setup and select the same options.
Seems like dpkg-reconfigure console-setup is not saving persistently my config.
When I change to vt and I want to write 'á' it draws a '╗', then I
exec dpkg-reconfigure console-setup, and works again

After console-setup was first installed, it corrupted all my text mode
consoles. After I rebooted, everything was fine.

I am closing these bugs now. This is not because of some change in
console-setup. The recent Debian kernels use framebuffer in almost all
cases and the bugs you have reported never occur when framebuffer is
used.
