Hi! Please check the bug 629695 whether the problem described there is relevant for this bug. I've tried the debian-testing DVD1 i386 22.08 and the behavior is the same: there is only /dev/sr0 (no scd0) and the string with cdrom source in /etc/apt/sources.list gets commented out. The installation fails.
