That's still not a bug in keyboard-configuration, which is already what I said, but you stripped that part in your “reply”. Anyway, see that in xorg-server: $ git grep keymap -- hw/kdrive/ephyr If you wish, try and get the layout in addition to the keymap (xkb to the rescue I suppose?).
