Package: debian-installer Severity: critical Tags: d-i Justification: breaks the whole system
Installing of the base system stops with the error message: "Debootstrap-Fehler Es ist der folgende Fehler aufgetreten: The bzcat is not available on the System - Schauen Sie in /var/log/syslog oder auf die vierte Konsole bezüglich detaillierter Informationen" The 4th console tells me: failed to execute '/lib/udev/edd_id' 'edd_id --export /dev/sda': No such file or directory 'edd_id --export /dev/sdb': No such file or directory After that, the installation process has to be exited. The system ist left unbootable from the hard disk.
