That's precisely what Miguel Figueiredo answered already (and I've checked again, it's in ./lib/modules/2.6.32-5-486/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/belkin_sa.ko in the initrd, we also use it for brltty). Gregory, could you post the precise usb id of your converter?
