package: partman-partitioning
version: 78

This bug was originally reported on Launchpad at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/partman-partitioning/+bug/151645

"I created a bunch of partitions to test the gutsy RC DVD, some primary,
some logical; I created small partitions for almost all available
filesystems: xfs, jfs, fat32, fat16; the fat16 partition couldn't be
created, I got a popup which said (translated from French) "Couldn't
create the fat16 filesystem on partition 6 of SCSI (0,0,0) (sda)"
I selected 10 MB for the partition size and before creation they were
rounded up as 8 MB in the partition list; I don't know whether fat16 is
sensible to this particular size.
For the record, after this failure, all configuration of the partition
types / mountpoint etc. was gone.
Also affects fat32, jfs and xfs"
