We DO want to fix it. But we can't fix something that we don't understand. When we try to reproduce this bug we just get proper permissions. So there must be something that we are doing differently. We do now where that is done, and we do already know that there are not supposed to be installation paths where it's not done. Putting it another way: we have already stared deeply at the code, and didn't find any bug with it, but apparently there's one, so we need to know which case make it happen.
