i have done many many tests with /boot partitions for testing the Make Bootable functions on powerpc, i have never observed this behavior. im not sure if i ever left a shell sitting with its cwd in /target or not, but that shouldn't matter since all procesess are alegedly being killed before the umount happens -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
