Is there any inconvenient with the patch I've sent?

Note that although it introduces a direct call to grub-probe,
current version already uses grub-probe indirectly. There's
really no way around relying on grub-probe: every time you
call grub-install or update-grub, grub-probe is running
behind the scenes. This is just to clarify any possible doubt
wrt my change in findfs().

Other than this, I can't think of any other reason why my
patch would be considered problematic.

Does anybody mind if I commit/upload this myself?
