Comments/Problems:
Debian testing was installed on A Medion 2001 PIII- Computer in order to
put the harddisk into an HP e-Vectra, using the network-mirror
ftp.plusline.de . The decision to use this method was made because there
was no slimline CD-drive available and USB-booting from USB 2.0 -devices
failed on the HP box.
The automatically generated report follows. It shows the hardware
information of the hardware on which it was installed initially.
Because of this the information about the machine on which the operating
system is really running now is attached. I looked through the following
report and tried to create something similar manually, but left out lsusb.
Post installation issues:
The only problem that occured, when first booting from the newly
installed hdd was that there was no functioning network interface. There
were two NICs in the Medion-box. So the interface in the HP-box was
called eth2 and /etc/network/interfaces had to be altered accordingly.
After gathering installation/hardware data the packages xfce4 and xdm
were installed and no further configuration-work had to be done to set
up a running desktop-system.
It is well usable and feels OK. As a next step I am going to build a
desktop-kernel for it, to improve latencies some more.

Given that your installation was a complete success, I do as
usual with reports for successful installations: I close the bug..:-)
This does not of course mean you weren't right to report. Knowing the
installations are correct is important for the d-i team.
Many thanks for your time testing the Debian Installer and reporting
your results. Have fun with your new Debian system!
