Can you try the exact same thing with development images? Go to http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer Go to "daily builds" Choose the "netboot" images for your architecture and get the kernel and initrd Add to this a businesscard image and boot this up, the same way you did with the lenny installer. Could you please report if you have the same problem or not?
