While installing squeeze from the 2010-08-15 daily-build netinst, I chose the
graphical installation option (mainly out of curiosity), and noticed that
the font used didn't seem to have the glyphs for Kannada: the localized
version in the right-hand column was displayed using the hex-digits-in-a-box
fallback glyphs. I don't speak Kannada (or indeed know where it's spoken),
but I'm sure those glyphs aren't what a Kannada speaker would expect :-)

The rest of the installation was successful, except for Bug #587397 which
I'll follow up on separately.

Regards,
    S
