There were 2 choices at the end of the install and there were more choices for the stable install. - The manual say there is 2 ways to prepare a usb key (http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.i386/ch04s03.html). However the boot system and the netinstall are too big for the 'easy way'.
