Package: hw-detect Severity: normal IMHO, this template has a quite sane default and I don't think there is a need to display it for default installs. After all, all it is asking is "should I try to detect the OEM divers injection disk?" which is a quite safe action.
Even though my understanding is that the package itself is used only in specific cases, I'd suggest lowering the priority to medium. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
