There is a bug in the way the LVM wizard calculate the PV and VG sizes after creating a new partition table. It seems to report the size of the previous partition. Steps to reproduce : - take a disk with, for example, /dev/sda1 = PV of 10G - launch the installer (in my case, text-based from USB thumb drive using hd-media) - in the partman part, go "manual" - in the list of drives, "click" on the disk in order to "create a new empty partition table", - create now a partition of 20G as "physical volume for LVM", - "configure LVM" (when ask to write changes, say "yes"), - "Create volume group" The size reported is the one of the previous partition. I tag this bug as minor but there may be big problems if the old size is greater than the new. Will the LVM write after the new partition in that case ?
