Package: debootstrap
Version: 1.0.22

Hi.

The kfreebsd-amd64 kernel is capable of limited emulation of
(linux-)i386. I wanted to create chroot for test how limited it is.

debootstrap --foreign --arch=i386 etch /linux http://ftp.cz.debian.org/debian

It failed with:
/usr/share/debootstrap/functions: line 1175: /lenny/test-dev-null: Operation
not supported
E: Cannot install into target '/linux' mounted with noexec or nodev

It fails in the same way even iff --foreign is specified.

debootstrap --foreign --arch=i386 etch /linux http://ftp.cz.debian.org/debian

Please disable the check when --foreign is specified.

Petr
