In case you still need it, the documentation for installing the current (lenny) release of Debian is at [1] below. These are the kinds of questions best suited to a local Linux User Group or LUG (see [2] below). If there is not a LUG near you, many groups have email discussions (mailing lists) where the members help each other. One example is the [3]San Antonio Linux Users Group, which I attend. You may join the mailing list using the link on the left side of the screen. (To get started, you shouldn't need a separate account for AT&T/Yahoo. My @sbcglobal.net account works fine in Linux.
