I am trying to install on a 486-DX33. I dowloaded all the files, created the floppies. I booted with the Resue disk and all seemed to go well. The I put the Root disk in, pressed ENTER and got the following: RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0 invalid compressed format (err=1) <6>apm:BIOS not found VFS: Insert root floppy and press ENTER (I did) [MS-DOS fs rel. 12, fat 16, check=n, conv=b,vid=0,gid=0,umask=022] [me=0x7b, cs=-348, hf=186, fs=44863, f1=3456, ds=818751, dc=61894, data=822621, se=53237, ts=1123548049, ls=2013, rc=0, fc=4294967295] Transaction block size = 512 Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 02:00 ======= At this point the system is locked up.
