Hi. discover in Etch used to have a very simple and user-friendly syntax, eg: discover disk discover disk --device discover video --xdriver Newer discover versions have completely changed the above syntax, requiring bus-type info and such. I still haven't figured out how to do all of the above with the new discover syntax. My suggestion is to add a section to the the discover docs (/usr/share/doc/discover/guide.html, or man page) which shows how to do common things (with the old syntax), using discover's new syntax, or with alternate utilities. This would help users like myself adjust to the new syntax. Thanks for your time.
