Package: debootstrap Version: 1.0.12 debootstrap does not support https transport although it probably could. When you attempt to debootstrap using a mirror served over https, debootstrap will fail complaining about the url being an unknown location. This is due to debootstrap specifically looking for "http:// <http:///>" in the url.
