I suspect your problem is that Lenny no longer supports sparc32, but you used the 32-bits variant of qemu for sparc. I'm closing the report on that basis. If this is not correct please let us know. Note that AFAIK the 64-bits sparc variant does not yet work, so ATM you cannot really test sparc images in qemu. Cheers, FJP
