Package: installation-reports
Version: 2.38
Severity: minor
Comments/Problems:
I chose to install the xfce desktop environment and the installation
process worked like a sharm. The only problem I had after logging into
the system, was the lack of the trash can.
The tooltip on the trash can applet revealed that some of dbus related
software was missing, so I did a quick search and noticed that the
dbus-x11 package was not installed. After I installed that package and
logged in again, the trash can appeared.
I would suggest to include dbus-x11 in the installation package list for
xfce, otherwise people won't be able to see the trash can unless they
install that package manually.
Regards,
Pietro Pizzo
