Right. I'm starting to think though that we probably should have some mechanism in base-installer to allow packages to pre-register that they want a module package installed matching the selected kernel. That could then be used by both partman-crypto and speakup. A proposals with a patch that implements something like that would be welcome. Cheers, FJP
