Package: debian-installer Severity: important I tried the daily-build installer, and the Disk Partitioning step always succeeded in partitioning, only to immediately fail in creating any ext3 filesystem.
I dropped to a shell to see if I can fix anything, and found that mkfs.ext3 was missing libblkid.so and just could not run; not even "mkfs.ext3 --help". (of course, the system I'm reporting from is unrelated). -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
