I reinstalled this morning with the following: http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/lenny_d-i/20080902-2/sparc/iso-cd/debian-testing-sparc-businesscard.iso The install kernel still hung after loading the CD driver. Rebooting and chosing 'install ide=nodma' again allowed the install to proceed. Configuration of network interfaces again failed due to loading the 'dmfe' driver instead of 'tulip'. Dropping to the shell and removing 'dmfe' and re-installing 'tulip' again allowed the install to proceed. These v100s are really junky so I don't expect much if anything can be done. I really just wanted to get the install report and workarounds in the archive for future reference. -- asg -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
