Dear DDs,
I am using an USB memory stick with hd-media files from today. $ wget http://people.debian.org/~joeyh/d-i/images/daily/hd-media/initrd.gz --2008-08-06 22:44:38-- http://people.debian.org/~joeyh/d-i/images/daily/hd-media/initrd.gz Auflösen des Hostnamen »people.debian.org«.... 192.25.206.10 Verbindungsaufbau zu people.debian.org|192.25.206.10|:80... verbunden. HTTP Anforderung gesendet, warte auf Antwort... 200 OK Länge: 5037089 (4,8M) [text/plain] In »initrd.gz« speichern. 100%[======================================>] 5.037.089 1,08M/s in 5,5s 2008-08-06 22:44:44 (892 KB/s) - »initrd.gz« gespeichert [5037089/5037089] (The other files also.) $ ls -l *.iso -rwxr-xr-x 1 paul paul 40900608 23. Mai 11:00 debian-testing-amd64-businesscard.iso -rwxr-xr-x 1 paul paul 46008320 6. Aug 11:33 debian-testing-i386-businesscard.iso -rwxr-xr-x 1 paul paul 170743808 6. Aug 11:35 debian-testing-i386-netinst.iso But the installer just said it is going to use the businesscard (testing) one. I went back and chose to search again, but then I got the answer that no images could be found even telling to do a search on the whole disk, which actually went pretty quick. Should not there be a dialog where I can select a certain iso? And should not it work according to [1]? Do you want me to file a bug report? Thanks, Paul [1] http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/HumanReadableChangelogs/LennyBeta1
