We have gone from (.24): To (.25): CONFIG_NLS=y CONFIG_NLS=m CONFIG_NLS_DEFAULT="iso8859-1" CONFIG_NLS_DEFAULT="utf8" I suspect the first line is responsible for the fact that we now need a nls-core-modules udeb and the second for this. Someone will need to update D-I for the codepage change. Raising severity as this breaks certain types of installs, and possibly usage of removable media in general.
