This would essentially mean introducing an new module udeb just for this driver as I don't think we want to combine modules from linux-2.6 and l-m-e in the same udebs. Something like nic-lme-modules would be possible I guess. Some questions. What's the reason the module isn't pushed into the upstream kernel? Does it have/require firmware? What is the size of the module? Are the systems that use it otherwise fully supported by the standard D-I? Depending on the answers to those questions I have no real objections, altough I also don't really like the explosion in kernel udebs we're seeing with the last few kernels.
