I have just recieved the following error message when installing potato for the
first time. I used the the line 'linux mem=128m' at the boot prompt. My system
is a K6-2 500 with 128m of RAM. Other specifics cheerfully provided if it will
help.

My first instinct was to add the 'no-hlt' option to the boot prompt, and while I
could get to the "Install Base System Stage", attempting to do so would result
in a dialog box showing:
File Error:
There was a problem extracting the base system from
/instmnt/dists/potato/main/disks-i386/current/base2_2.tgz
Hidden beneath the box was the end of an error message reading 'on fault'.
Trying the command myself revealed that the full mesage is 'Segmentation fault'
In the third console, there was the message:
Jun 16 20:41:39 (none) user.info dbootstrap [128] unexpected end of file from
"(null)"
I have tried to be as thorough as possible here, and I hope that someone can
help me. Should any more information be helpful, ask, and I will do whatever I
can to provide it.
