fixed copyFile() so it doesn't set the umask to 0 (this might explain
why so much crap gets created mode 777 (yes still).  the bogus line
was:
       result = mkdir(destName, 0777777 ^ umask(0));

fixed totally broken fdisk symlink fixing for powerpc.
