If its easy for the end user to build their own custom boot disk using
there own prebuilt kernel then that will help for hardware
configurations that dont work "off the shelf".
Some time ago i read a post describing how to use a custom kernel, but i
got lost amoungst all the scripts and never worked it out.
I how that as di will be smaller and more modular it will make it easier
to customise.
