No, it's the case, but you can grab the right kernel for your flavor
and subarchitecture easily enough.

I don't know,. maybe m68k or powerpc boot-floppies layout, but
hopefully the file shoudl be always findable in
<bf-root>/[flavor-or-subarch/>linux .
