Udebs?

I'm sorry I've only been subscribed to this list for about 1 month.

what is a udeb? and is there anywere I can find out more info ?
cdebconf ?

( Looked on the cvs but couldn't find anything. may be I'm looking in the
wrong place ? )

I'm interested in helping.... I know Sh scripts. and I'm learning perl.
But I have alot more to learn. I hope to learn alot more and get a grasp of
how every thing works before I volentire and help..
