I'm talking about the interactive ncurses module configuration, which
shows a list of modules that can be inserted into the kernel.
For 2.4.0 kernels this list is currently empty, as the loop on lines 92-112
of /usr/sbin/modconf is searching for .o files in all directories contained
in /lib/modules/2.4.0/ (the directory list is created in lines 178-188, based
on $Dir_Prefix which is set in /usr/share/modconf/params line 36).
