I don't disagree with your assessment that we should probably use 1k
block sizes for root partitions when they are under a certain size.
Remember that a lot of users just make one gigantic 2gig partition and
put everything on that.
Anyhow, you shold probably file a wishlist bug against boot-floppies
for this.
Honestly, also, you need to either patch dbootstrap or else find
someone else to do that patching if you really want this fixed in a
potato point release since I won't be able to get to it.
