After that the config file gets written (/etc/quik.conf, iirc) and
quik gets executed:

"export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=\"/target/lib:/target/usr/lib\"; /target/sbin/quik -f -r 
/target >/dev/null"

Is there something wrong?

Could you run that command from the 2nd console and see if that fails
as well?
