retitle 68665 [CVS-fixed] Missing devices in base system
thanks
I've worked on the boot-floppies code recently...

Oops, commented out, not present in devices.txt anyway...

Added workaround until MAKEDEV is fixed:
(cd $B/dev && mv mcdx mcdx0 && ln -s mcdx0 mcdx)
<Joey> Is it possible to have more than one mcdx in the system and does Linux support
this?
<Treenaks> Joey: yes, yes
<Treenaks> Joey: just modprobe more than once
<Joey> then a) devices.txt is inaccurate and MAKEDEV is buggy
<Joey> How many devices are possible?
<Treenaks> Joey: try Configure.help
<Treenaks> Joey: and Documentation/cdrom/mcdx
<Treenaks> Joey: it supports up to 5 drives
<Joey> Aha, ok, so 0-4 need to be added.

Added to MAKEDEV call
