It's "the Hurd"

Section 1.3 of the installation manual asks "What is Hurd?"

The usage of "Hurd" is almost always with a definite article; the
question should be "What is the Hurd?"

(and throughout that section as well, "Hurd" should be replaced with
"the Hurd" almost everywhere it occurs)
