Yeah, except that libreoffice-sdbc-firebird 24.8 in unstable today pulls in firebird3.0-server-core 3.0.11.33703.ds4-4 , while LO 24.8 in bookworm-backports still pulls in the older firebird3.0-server-core 3.0.11.33637.ds4-2+b1, because there is no bookworm-backports of firebird3.0. The changes between 3.0.11.33637.ds4-2 and 3.0.11.33703.ds4-4 in the Debian firebird3.0 changelog do not immediately mention anything related: https://tracker.debian.org/media/packages/f/firebird3.0/changelog-3.0.11.33703.ds4-4 Too many Firebird commits between 33637 and 33703 for me to go through right now: https://github.com/FirebirdSQL/firebird/compare/78583ab3ee5e7cd1a3aae41bc9c3a6fdb28918e8...1c2bf8f44c1102fcab897802a1cd2051b5ecd924 I do not know if it all matters anyway. I noticed that LO upstream tried to bump the Firebird dependency from 3.0.7 to 3.0.11 and reverted that. > In general, firebird is not prime-ready even upstream. > > That there's no bugs.documentfoundation.org bug doesn't exactly say > anything, if noone found the condition you had. Yes, I understand. Perhaps it is a corner case related to my database, because for the two weeks between 2024-11-21 and 2024-12-08, `firebird.fbk` was still changing. Something happened that made `firebird.fbk` not change anymore in later saves. I will keep a closer eye on the changes I make now, see if I can make it reproducible. Anyway, I will try to report at bugs.documentfoundation.org when I have time. In addition: Checking back journalctl, I now see and remember that I had to hard power-off my laptop in the afternoon of 2024-12-07 (because of hang during suspend). So both times an unexpected power-off, then after restart probably a file recovery, but no indication that anything was wrong, and from that point on the `firebird.fbk` not changing anymore on later saves. Perhaps it is somewhat related to this bug: libreoffice-common: data loss because AutoRecovery information is stored in /tmp https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=927426 Best regards, Peter Nowee
