See https://gitlab.manjaro.org/manjaro-arm/packages/community/pinebookpro-post-install/blob/master/asound.state for a sound fix, it's just an asound.state file, delete it if it doesn't work. There are other weirdnesses, like speaker/headphone sound is 2 cascaded devices, and the speaker may not turn off when you plug in headphones. I have a workaround using amixer.
