Hi there! I know I'm running quite an old system here, but apparently the kernel images 5.9x are getting to large to be flashed on a Qnap TS219 device (I assume others as well):
root@rusalka:~# flash-kernel kirkwood-qnap: machine: QNAP TS219 family Using DTB: kirkwood-ts219-6281.dtb Installing /usr/lib/linux-image-5.9.0-0.bpo.2-marvell/kirkwood-ts219-6281.dtb into /boot/dtbs/5.9.0-0.bpo.2-marvell/./kirkwood-ts219-6281.dtb Taking backup of kirkwood-ts219-6281.dtb. Installing new kirkwood-ts219-6281.dtb. flash-kernel: installing version 5.9.0-0.bpo.2-marvell Not enough space for kernel in MTD 'Kernel' (need 2327672 but is actually 2097152). Is there anything I can do to fix this? Maybe use a different compression algorithm for the the kernel image or so? It is just a small home server, and the replacement system is standing unconfigured next to it. I'm just wondering, if I should re-priorize the migration to my new one, or can get it working for a bit longer. Best regards, Alexander
