Hello I have done some more tests. What I see. The Initram has different size. I think it sould be the same size, if no module are added or removed. Replace the new generated initram with the original does *not* solve boot problem.
I also have backup the firmeware partition. Restore it does fix and raspi will boot. So I think something does change files besides the initram there. I have not find this files in this short time. perhaps it help to find the error Am 30.07.20 um 20:27 schrieb Gunnar Wolf: > basti dijo [Tue, Jul 28, 2020 at 08:58:58PM +0200]: >> Hello, I have try images from https://raspi.debian.net/ daily build and >> also tested images. >> >> When I copy it to SD card and boot all work, reboot also. >> When a update-initramfs is done by install new software for example lvm2 >> or update the kernel the raspi won't boot anymore and hang after detect usb. >> >> to reproduse just copy a image to sd card boot and run >> update-initramfs -u -k all && reboot >> >> Can someone confirm? > Grrrr. > > Yes, I can confirm, I just checked.
